Map Illustrations can offer a 3D terrain modeling service for the engineering and book publishing industries. We can take the standard overhead view of mountain relief maps and generate realistic 3D views of real world places. Our software can “cover” the terrain with forests, roads, lakes, rivers and can even have satellite imagery draped over the model for land cover realisation and analysis. All image files are created in PhotoShop and can be saved to any format with TIFF, BMP, JPEG and GIF being the most requested formats.
